ROBERT A. SHELDON
Hello, I'm Rob and I'm an associate lawyer at Bryna D. McLeod Lawyers. My practice focuses on Real Estate, Wills and Estates, and Corporate law.
I received my law degree at the University of Windsor and was called to the bar in 2013. While at Windsor Law, I served on several student committees, provided research assistance to faculty, was a recipient of the 2011 Scotiabank award in Trusts, and achieved the highest standing out of the 2011 University of Windsor Mediation Services Clinic interns.
Prior to my legal career, I worked as a Senior Advisor to two Ontario Ministers of Education, and as an Early Resolution Officer at the Office of the Ontario Ombudsman where I conducted resolution and investigative work into government maladministration.
Despite how super stuffy my bio sounds, I'm actually very approachable. I want you to feel comfortable every time we talk and I want you to feel confident that your needs are being met, which is why I always take the time to explain and simplify the complexities of the law.
I'm a pretty active guy - you may have seen me downtown early in the morning attempting to run with my two dogs who clearly didn't read the memo, or, making "Old-Timey" strong man sounds (huphuphup!) at the Goodlife Fitness on Eramosa Rd. I have a young son, Rohays ("RO-ays"), and a wonderful and beautiful wife, Ashley, who tolerate my sense of humour and smelly gym clothes.
Although I'm fairly new to Guelph, I am actively involved in the community being on several boards including the 10 Carden Board of Directors.
